How are birthmarks treated?

How are birthmarks treated
In birthmark treatments, it is important to act according to the type of the birthmark. Birthmarks can be red, burgundy or purple. Some of these scars last for life and are called angiomas. They are scars that fall back to ages about 2 to 5 years.

Once the birthmark is diagnosed, it can be left untreated if it does not disturb the baby. If it grows rapidly and shows a detrimental effect on health, medication or laser treatments can be used. Wine scars, which are lifelong birthmarks, can be remedied by laser treatment.

Beginning the treatment from a young age is actually the best way. With age, these scars start to thicken. After the ages of 40-50, treatment becomes more difficult. If the person has the opportunity, he/she should be treated. Laser treatment of permanent birthmarks can be done in at least 5-20 sessions between 4 and 8 weeks.
